London Business School is hosting the 4th annual Latin America Business Forum on Saturday 30 May 2009. The Latin America Business Forum is a confluence of global business leaders, leading faculty, financiers, entrepreneurs and students that leverages the London Business School platform to facilitate discussion and debate on doing business in or with Latin America. It aims to promote the interest in the region among the business community. Over its three years, the Forum has quickly become one of the most important events for Latin America in Europe.

The Cambridge University Mexican Society (CUMexSoc) and the Society of Mexican Students in the United Kingdom (MexSoc UK) are proud to invite you to the 7th Symposium of Mexican Students and Studies to be held at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) on the 4th of July 2009.
The MexSocUK symposium is an annual meeting aimed to provide a forum for Mexican students to present their work, exchange knowledge and ideas. The MexSocUK symposium is an opportunity for students from all nationalities working on Mexico-related projects to share and discuss their research with Mexican nationals, members of the academia, government and industry. Furthermore, the event is an excellent opportunity for all levels of networking.
The event will consist of an academic program which includes oral presentations, workshop sessions and keynote lectures delivered by personalities of the academic community related to Mexico.

It’s (almost) football time!
This is a call for the Mexican Societies in the UK that may be interested in hosting the traditional “MexSoc UK Football Tournament” to send an brief letter of intention to mexsocuk@yahoo.co.uk, expressing their interest, and including an estimation of any associated costs. This must be done by the 24th of March!!!. The ideal date for the tournament would be on the last weekend of April / first weekend of May, but it will be up to the hosts to define the final date.
If elections were needed to define the hosting of the event, the proposals would be voted during the next 2 days after the deadline mentioned above, and results would be disclosed by the 27th of March.
This is also a reminder for all societies to start organizing their teams and getting ready for the tournament!
